DTA are pleased to have supported Catesby Estates in securing planning permission for up to 85 dwellings on land off Walshes Road in Crowborough. Through extensive discussions with the Local Highway Authority and presentations to the Town Council and Resident’s Groups, offsite improvements are to be delivered to mitigate the impact of the development and provide betterment to the existing situation. Pedestrian improvements are to be provided that will connect the existing town through the site to a further residential development, delivering a traffic-free route. Offsite mitigation includes the delivery of a new mini-roundabout to resolve queueing issues with a new zebra crossing improving pedestrian connectivity on the main through route.
