DTA assisted in securing planning permission for 9 dwellings on the eastern edge of Stoke Gabriel, Devon. The application was initially refused by South Hams District Council in June 2017 on sustainability grounds. A planning appeal was lodged and informal hearing attended in November 2017, for which DTA prepared an Appeal Statement. The Inspector subsequently granted consent on the basis there would be no material harm in terms of accessibility and that there were no other objections of sufficient substance to weigh against the benefits of the proposal in providing new much needed housing.
